We are a community first café, open to everyone from nearby and further afar. The School House Café is always busy with weekly groups, one-off events and community activities you can get involved with. From community lunches to children's craft and lego afternoon, there's something for everyone. Check out some of the events we've run below:

Community Lunch

Every Monday, 12:30–1:30pm, we host a community lunch in partnership with Wiggly and Good Food Cheltenham.

This lunch is open to anyone, on a #payasyoufeel basis - you can pay nothing or as much as you would like to contribute. Come and join us!

visit and use our Community fridge!

Every year in the UK we throw away nearly 15 million tonnes of food and drink. Nearly half is perfectly good to eat!

Our community fridge, located in the café main hall, enables businesses and individuals to waste less food by bringing excess food (within use-by date) to our fridge instead of throwing it away. Anyone can drop-off food, and anyone can come and help themselves to whatever is in the fridge. This fridge is for everyone in the community to use - we want to make sure any surplus food we have is used and not wasted!

Foods we can accept: sealed packaged foods, cheeses, fresh fruit and veg, table sauces, pastry, fresh eggs (traceable Lion stamped eggs), unopened fruit juices, and unopened pasteurised milk and yogurt.
